Elen Glazova is a director and cinematographer based between Tbilisi and Los Angeles. An alum of the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, she draws on a lifelong connection to the arts—beginning with fine art, continuing through dance, and evolving into still photography before transitioning to film.
Her work is driven by movement-based storytelling, relying on action and visual rhythm rather than dialogue. Her thesis film, Portrait in the Wild, currently on the festival circuit, was shot entirely without spoken lines, unfolding through physicality and cinematic gestures.
Elen approaches each project with a focus on composition, light, and emotional detail, exploring how camera, motion, and atmosphere can interpret a story in its own distinct way. Alongside her film work, she maintains an independent practice in portrait photography.
